I am still searching for my ancestor, Nancy KING, b c 1787 in either NC or SC. She married before 1810, James PURSLEY, b York Co, SC. They lived in McMinn and Polk Co., TN. She moved to Catoosa Co., GA before the Civil War and possibly died in Catoosa or Whitfield Co., after 1870. Their children were: daughter married to NAPIER, Sarah married to Samuel DUGAN, John, Thomas King, William, Nancy married to Moses MATLOCK, and James G., married to Hannah LONGLEY, my ancestor.
