In response to posting by Davette Bowen Do you know where the King Cm is located? I know of one in McNairy County. (informaiton taken from the book REFLECIONS A HISTORY OF MCNAIRY COUNTY, TN 1823-1996) It was located on what is now the Rose Creek Rd. The cemetery was located near the turnoff of the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Someone built a grocery store on the King Cemetery property and destroyed all the tombstones so there is nothing to mark the spot where the Kings were laid to rest. This was where some of my kin were laid to rest, including Henry and Hannah King from NC, and they were the propenitors of most of the Kings in McNairy County, TN. I have several Nancy Kings in my line, some I don't know who they married. Sorry my information may not be much help to you, but if you could provide more information, I might be able to help.
