Hi all. This gentleman is very elusive. I have been looking for him and his family for nearly a year with no success. Augustus King, b. 1814 in Germany (Koenig in Germany) m Margaret Sonne b. 1819 in Germany. They married and had 2 sons in Germany before he came to US via New Orleans, LA between 1844 and 1850. He and his family appear on the Ohio, Co., KY 1850 census. At that time he was 36, occupation, Tanner. Margaret was 31, sons Henry age 7, Charles age 6 and Lou. Louisa appears to have been born in US and lived only a short life. Also in Augustus and Margaret's household was Henry Sonne, age 27, Margaret's brother. He too was from Germany and occupation listed as Tanner. Am interested in Augustus and Margaret's parents, brothers and sisters. And any thing else about this family. Thanking you in advance, Ann
