DEB, Don't know this family, but I might be able to help some. When I get a chance, I will check my IL Marriage CD to see if I can find any of your marriages in IL. The names are unusual enough for me to try, because there are a LOT of Kings. I do not have an Indiana CD. If you get to marriages for years before 1850 in IN, they are online. Next, if you can possibly determine from those library books (or other references) where you William Henry served, it's a good bet that he has a pension record somewhere.
