While looking throught old files I found a brochure on the Newport RI Mansions. Thought you might want to know there is one called "Kingscote" It is located on Bellevue Avenue. The discription in the brochure reads like this "KINGSCOTE IS A CHARMING COTTAGE BUILT IN 1839 BY RICHARD UPJOHN FOR GEORGE NOBLE JONES OF SAVANNAH, GEORGIA. CHINA TRADE MERCHANT WILLIAM HENRY KING ACQUIRED IT IN 1864. IT CONTAINS ORIGINAL KING FAMILY FURNISHINGS. THE MCKIM, MEAD & WHITE DINING ROOM WAS ADDED IN 1881.
