Ransom King, the son of Joseph King who died in Bute Co. NC in 1773, appeared in the 1800 NC census as a resident of Montgomery Co. His wife who apparently was living with him in 1800 must have died and he married Lucy [Clifton] Williams by 1812. Then in 1816 he married Abigail "Addy" [Tucker] Rogers, the daughter of George Tucker, in Wilson Co. TN. I would like to correspond with anyone researching these KING and TUCKER families. Roger O.
