I was wondering if any other Kings out there know about this King. Around the Revolution he stayed neutral, He lost his land in Vermont but kept land , around Columbus Co(?) and settled down with a Lydia Fosque, and orphan girl he provided care for then when he returned from pirating or whatever she was no longer a girl but a woman and married her. Family legend says that we are connected. I am working on tracing up and just wanted to know if any one else knew of this. This is what I have Jessie King -2-13-1898 DAUGHTER OF James Franklin King and Missouri Louise WIlson J.F. King, ( can't find my dates handy now) son of James Madison King As far as I know they are all from Brunswick Co. NC ( next door to Colubus Co. in Shiloh there is a memorial to Duncan King. ) I think James Madison Kings father was James ANderson King, but I am not sure. Any clues?? ANy ideas. Stacy Dennis
