I am seeking background on John KING who lived in Jackson MS. John was b. 1754 in NC. He was in Craven Co., NC. He died 1838 in Jackson Co., MS. His wife was Lydia SMITH from Craven Co. Am wondering if anyone has turned up who his parents were or if he was in the Rev War as suggested in the book, FOUR CENTURIES ON THE PASCAGOULA.
