He was born in MS (according to census records - and according to 1880 census did not know the pob of his parents) January 7, 1859 according to tombstone (1861 according to 1900 census). First found him in 1880 as a boarder in Scott County, MS in the household of Joseph Fitzhugh, listed as a farmer, with wife Dora and child Ora. Does this William Taylor KING relate to your KING line?
