    3. -- [ From: Kristine Ludwig * EMC.Ver #3.1a ] -- Hi, Marie. Thanks for your e-mail and kind words about my website. Sorry my Emily C. KING and yours didn't match up. Hehe. I am afraid my KINGs are stuck in Tennessee. I haven't been able to make any headway in getting them back to NC or VA. Ah well. Patience, eh? I will forward your e-mail message to the KING e-mail list. Perhaps someone else out there knows more about your KINGs. I hope this finds you well. All my best, Kristine -------- REPLY, Original message follows -------- From: Ed or Marie Cobler \ Internet: (peach@dtgnet.com) To: Kristine Ludwig \ Internet: (knludwig@ocean.otr.usm.edu) Subject: Kings Hi Kristine, I love your home page!! It's great. I wandered in looking for an Emly C. King - and yes you have one but . . . she is about 50 years older than mine. Mine was born in Estill Co., KY - but I do know that some of the family settled in IN so it isn't totally out of the question that there is a tie some place. Lots of repeated names, etc. So I will bookmark your page to come back to later. Who knows, maybe yours is one of the lines we haven't been able to trace. I do have a James born about the same time, the parents are different though. I got a good chuckle out of your home page anyway. You might have stumbled on some of the line we know we belong to, it goes?? Jacob, Major, Samuel, etc. Some from VA, and then going to KY. Same deal, moved so much it is horrible to keep up with. I have moved around alot myself, but I can't imagine what treking cross country would have been like back then. Think I'd leave eerything behind and just start over. anyway, I wont keep ya, Marie <peach@dtgnet.com> -------- REPLY, End of original message --------
