Hi,everyone! I am a newbie at this mailing list and would like to introduce myself and a couple of my ancestors. My name is Tom Billings and my GGGrandmother was Mary Jane KING who was born in Missouri (somewhere) on 2 November 1831 to, I believe, Thomas and Elizabeth KING from Tennessee and Missouri, respectively. This, so far, is conjecture or tradition, since nothing is documented. What I DO have substantiated by certificate is the marriage of Mary Jane KING to Nathaniel Calhoun HUNTLEY on 25 February 1847 in Henry County, Missouri. That was the same year of the great HUNTLEY migration (wagon train) to Oregon which included 90 wagons. But, I don't believe they were involved in this trek in that year, since all census records indicate that at least two of their children (Enoch and Susana Elizabeth and possibly Samuel) were born in Missouri between 1848-1852. And they don't show up in the 1850 Oregon census; although they aren't on that years Missouri census either. Does anybody have any information regarding these KINGs or HUNTLEYs? Please e-mail with any data that you may have. At this point, I am interested in ANYTHING. Good to meet you all! Sincerely, Tom Billings -----Original Message----- From: KING-D-request@rootsweb.com <KING-D-request@rootsweb.com> To: KING-D@rootsweb.com <KING-D@rootsweb.com> Date: Monday, December 14, 1998 5:41 PM Subject: KING-D Digest V98 #264
