JUDY and Others, Will get back to Others, probably tomorrow, but I want to correct something. I am not a descendant of Robert King from Fauquier County. Long string of questions may have led to that conclusion. I am descended from a John King born in nearby Loudoun Co. He had a son and grandson named Richard, and a Richard--maybe a brother or other close relative appears in his REV WAR record. His other sons were named John and William. I once thought Richard of Harrison might be his brother, but they were born within about 4 months of one another. My John served in REV WAR from Bedford Co PA. After the war, he was in Mason Co KY and then Bracken (maybe no move, just creation of new county). There is a William King of Bracken who was from Fauquier and states in his REV WAR record that he has a brother Robert. Maybe Robert, Richard, and William were all brothers. Think my John might be related, but I don't think he was a brother of this group. I was responding to a question about a SITHA who married Jesse King from Fauquier/Loudoun some of whose descendants wound up in same IL county as my King relatives--Shelby Co IL. There are a lot of KY King families from the same general area who were probably distantly related. Just don't know how. SHERRY
