Hi - Are there no KINGS in Wisconsin ? Did he move there from a nearby State? Does anyone have the comparatively unusual name of "Dwight" in their Family Tree somewhere. He died in 1917 when my mother was 11 years old. She was the youngest of a family of four boys, Walt, Fred, Albert, Ray, and three girls, Mae, Susan, and (I think) Tina. Albert was killed during a sporting accident when he was in the Navy. Tina died in her youth. The boys were all thin muscular guys (about 5' 6" to 5' 8", and all looked somewhat the same. This leads me to believe that he was that kind of a looking guy. (One of the straws I'm grasping at.) There was also a tendency toward being scrappy guys. Dwight married Ella Long (1875-1969). They lived in Schoefield, Wisconsin from, I know, 1906 til 1917. I also know that the family still lived in Schoefield as of 1922, when my mother was married. I do not know of the family's location prior to 1907, but suspect it was in Wisconsin I never asked enough questions when I was a kid, but now I need to know where my grandfather came from, etc., and there is no one left to ask. Mae moved to Michigan, Walt was a vagabond (mostly out West), and the rest of the family stayed in Wisconsin, mostly Marathon County and Wood County. Would appreciate any contacts with information or suggestions to help me get out of this dead end. Harry R. Miller hrm@lightstream.net
