This is a very long shot, but our Wilsons were very close to a King family back in NC. Their son, Alvin King as well as our Wilsons migrated to Gibson TN which is near the KY border. Have you seen any Kings around your Wilsons? There seems to have been a lot of back and forthing between west TN and KY near the border. Hickman, KY seemed to be the major supply center for Gibson Co. and many of the families who ended up in Gibson Co, had made a stop in KY after leaving middle TN.
