Does anyone recognize them the following KINGs? They are buried in Van Orin Repose Cemetery, La Moille Twp., Bureau Co., IL: KING, Charles - b. 12-27-1868; d. 2-10-1954, a 35- 1-13? " Lucy M., his wife - b. 9- 6-1874; d. 2-18-1944, a 69- 5-12? This is the same cemetery where Sarah KING (SINCLAIR) b. between 1896-1804 d. 1886 is buried in the Frederick LONG family plot. According to Bradsby's History of Bureau County, Illinois: [George M. RADCLIFFE's] first wife, Lucy KING, was a native of Ohio, and a graduate of Gen. Garfield's Academy at Hiram. She died here in 1861, aged twenty-one years. She was the mother of Frank C. RADCLIFFE, now a resident of California. This Lucy KING would have been born in 1840, 28 years before Charles KING was born, so she could have been the sister of his father -- there may or may not be a connection...
