What's the best way to find a marriage circa 1841-1849 in either Hampden Co., MA or New Haven, CT? Also, would anyone be willing to do a look up for me. I will pay. I'm in New York state and can't easily get to to MA or CT. Looking for marriage of Harriet Churchill MCQUIVEY (of Springfield, Hampden Co. MA) to Victor A. KING (of Mt. Pleasant, Wayne Co., PA). They had their first child abt. 1846 in New Haven and one in 1849 in Whitneyville. However, by 1850 they were living in Hampden Co. MA and lived there for many years after until going back to Connecticut. Even though their first children were born in CT, it has been suggested that they might have married where the bride was from. So I'd like to check both locales and the wider range of years just to cover my basis. This is one of my last hopes at finding Victor KING'S parents' names so I'm REALLY hoping someone can help.
