I found the following information in a book titled, "Tennessee Bible and Family Records", published by the Watauga Association of Genealogists. It's probably not related to my line (although close), but thought it may of interest to someone else. I relaize there are many misspelled words, however, I copied it just as it appeared in the book. English & Margaret King were married Sept 16th, 1846. John G. King & Hariot S.W. Neatherland were married Oct 3d, 1850. Cyrus King and Syntha H Harden were married May 16th, 1842. James King Jr. and Elizibeth Re____ Buchanan were married � BIRTHS Sarah Ann King was born Feb 7th, 1813. James King was born August 10th, 1814. William King was born Dec 10th, 1815. Cyrus King was born March 1, 1818. Margaret King was born Jan 10th, 1820. Malinda W. King was born June 27th, 1821. John G. King was born March 2d, 1823. DEATHS William King, son of James & M.M. King, died on the 2 day of July 1848 in the 33rd year of his age on the Gulph of Mexico on his returne from a second tower of volenteer service in the Mexican War in which he held the rank of 1st Lieutenant. Syrus King � son of James and M.M. King, died March 22nd, 1855, aged 37 years and 22 days. Sarah Ann Kill died October the 9th, 1862 aged 9 yrs. Cynthia H. King wife of Cyrus King died in Columbia Tenn.
