I have an Alfred King that moved from Erie County, PA. He moved to Kane County, Ill. on the 1850 census. On the 1860 census he is living in Carroll County, ILL. Do not know who his parents, or siblings. He had a grandson named Lewis. Do you think we might have a connection somehow? Estelle Hucks
