I'm at a brick wall with a Nancy King, b abt 1795 in VA. (according to census.) She married Michael Short in 1814 in Clermont Co., OH. Researchers have been trying to find her for 30 years with no success. The thought is - could she have been married to a King prior to Short? Maybe he died? The children born to her were with Short. Rumor has it she was Indian, or part Indian. Possibly Cherokee?? Would you please check your records to see if you have anyone that could possibly fit this profile. Thanks.
