Yes, I've seen the error in Carroll County records of the FLOOD name,but it's definately HOOD. Gardners sister was a Permelia HOOD who was married to a WILLS in Dinwiddie Cty.VA. Gardner & Rebecca KING married in Halifax County,N.C. in 1824. I do have the names of all their HOOD children .Part of the children were born in NC & part in Mississippi.
