>From Jim Danley @ [email protected] Hi Jim: Yes, it has been awhile since we last exchanged information on our KING lines. In the meantime my wife's health has deteriorated and I have very little free time for genealogy. However, I will give you what information I have on Martha KING and her husband Geo. Washington K. Moore. My data indicates that Martha KING was the 3rd wife of G.W. K. Moore. I think they had three children. It is also possible that I may have her connected to the wrong KING family line. However, as I recall, she was buried in the Ephraim KING family cemetery; which is situated east of Petersburg, TN; thus, indicating some relationship to the Ephraim KING line of LCTN. My burial notes indicates that she was mentioned in Ephraim KING's will. As for the Joshua KING family, it is quite possible that Joshua was related to my Ephraim KING of LCTN; perhaps as a younger brother, cousin or nephew. However, I have never made a documented connection between the two families. It is possible that both families had daughters named Martha KING. Some time ago I collected some data on an early Ephraim KING in Maryland. However, again, I was never able to document a connection to my LCTN Ephraim KING. But his descendants used Ephraim as a given name for their children for at least 3 generations, following Ephraim KING's death in 1846. Below are the references for the source data on Martha KING that I have in my files: BIRTH, MARRIAGE & DEATH: ALL DATA EXTRACTED FROM A FAMILY GROUP SHEET APPEARING IN A BOOKLET TITLED "THE WANDERING KINGS" BY JEANE AUSTIN KING GALAU, SUNDOWN COURT, HIGH CLIFF VILLAGE, ROUTE #1, MENASHA, WISCONSIN 54952, PHONE: 414-989-1072.
