Hi! I haven't worked on my genealogy since the '70s, so I'm just trying to find out where I stand. We have two King families on our tree. The one I submit today came over from Dublin, Ireland. I believe I have some dates and places somewhere, but I haven't unpacked well or organized this stuff since relocating 2 years ago. I hope just the names will ring a bell with someone. Rodney & Emeline (Mason) KING *Rodney supposedly came to the USA from Dublin, Ireland James Mason & Louisiana Center KING Hugh Davenport & Elizabeth (Newsom) KING Hugh Lafayette & Nancy Elizabeth (Watkins) KING Clara Beatrice (KING) & Oscar Porter LITTLEFIELD Oscar King & Willie (Boone) LITTLEFIELD *Me - Leona Lane LITTLEFIELD Thanks, Leona

I have tried to get death records and marriage records for him to find out his mother's name and the part of Canada he came from but have had no luck. Could someone give me some suggestions? Thank You, Sandi DeSanto

I'll greatly appreciate ANY help! Regards, Karen Trouvat My ancestor, Tranqilla KING, was the daughter of Mazie HAWS (Hawes) and Amazon KING residing in Tennessee. Mazie's sister, Eveline S. Why are we getting so many duplicate listings on this BB? Any one know? Tom King, Sr.
I don't know how much data is "not enough to share," but I will provide this little bit and hope it is not too little. My gr-gr grandfather, Henry King, b. 1 May 1792, somewhere in NC (according the Alabama census data and a family Bible record in Texas), who lived in Morgan Co, GA, Henry Co, GA, possibly Butts, Putnam and Upson counties, GA, and finally Barbour Co, AL, wjere he died in Dec 1854, named a son, born 19 Feb 1829, somewhere in GA (possibly Butts, Putnam or Upson county), Tandy Waggoner King. Why would he have used the name Waggoner, unless he was related to or knew "Thomas King 1768 married Elizabeth Waggoner in Orange Co NC 1788"? On the other hand, where did he get the name Tandy, unless he was related to or knew "Tandy Dix KING 1796", who (or his father) was apparently from Northampton County, NC? By the way, there was, I believe, a Dix family in Barbour Co, AL, after Henry's death, and it is likely that they were in that location earlier. How in the world does anybody research this family? Ralph, I would love to get any little bit of data, even if it is not enough, please. Bill King wdking@email.msn.com -----Original Message----- From: H.
