Hi, King Family researchers. I've subscribed for a couple weeks now and read with interest the many occurrences of King families. Family oral tradition has it that my great grandmother's people came from West Virginia. Michael Edgar King (wife Mary Ellen Campbell) lived in Altoona, PA, after the Civil War.. Their daughter, Alma, married Edgar A. Custer in 1883. They had 6 children: Mary, Dorothy, Alma, Edgar A. II, Elizabeth, and Seelye. (I have more details after this generation, if anyone is interested.) If any of you folks researching West Virginia Kings ever come across a Michael King, I'd appreciate knowing what you have.
