A King descendent wrote a history for her family in which she said "John C. King's father was a stowaway from Ireland at the age of 14. He married a Welsh woman and they came into the Ozarks(Arkansas and Missouri) before the Civil War." Unfortunately, she did not give the name of either person. The John C. King she refers to is my g-grandfather and he was b. 1818 TN. and was in Arkansas before 1840. He had a brother named Martin and possibly a sister, Elizabeth.
