    3. Yes, I've seen the error in Carroll County records of the FLOOD name, but it's definately HOOD. Gardners sister was a Permelia HOOD who was married to a WILLS in Dinwiddie Cty.VA. Gardner & Rebecca KING married in Halifax County,N.C. in 1824. I do have the names of all their HOOD children .Part of the children were born in NC & part in Mississippi. Thanks for your help..Nancy ----- Original Message ----- From: "Brenda King Finch" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, September 03, 2002 4:58 PM Subject: Re: [KING] Rebecca KING N. 3. Lurana Birks/Burks married George W. King in 1861 Lawrence Co., AL. They moved to Lauderdale Co., MS by 1862 when he joined the Confederate Army. He said when he returned from the War, they were "gone" - dead or deserted? She was born in 1837 and George Wade King was born in 1839. On the 1850 Lawrence Co., AL Census she was listed as Raney Birks, age 13, with Riley Birks (probably her GFather). What happened to this family? George Wade King b. 1839 NC d. 1923 Lauderdale Co., MS married Ann Raney Miller, dau. of Eli T. Miller and Catherine Hall Rainey Miller, in 1866 in Lauderdale Co., MS and had a large family. 1. [KING] marriage circa 1841-1849
    2. Lynda K. Wade
    3. What's the best way to find a marriage circa 1841-1849 in either Hampden Co., MA or New Haven, CT? Also, would anyone be willing to do a look up for me. I will pay. I'm in New York state and can't easily get to to MA or CT. Looking for marriage of Harriet Churchill MCQUIVEY (of Springfield, Hampden Co. MA) to Victor A. KING (of Mt. Pleasant, Wayne Co., PA). They had their first child abt. 1846 in New Haven and one in 1849 in Whitneyville. However, by 1850 they were living in Hampden Co. MA and lived there for many years after until going back to Connecticut. Even though their first children were born in CT, it has been suggested that they might have married where the bride was from. So I'd like to check both locales and the wider range of years just to cover my basis. This is one of my last hopes at finding Victor KING'S parents' names so I'm REALLY hoping someone can help. Thanks. I apologize if I've asked before and I'm double posting to more than one list. Lynda K. Wade [email protected] Syracuse Executives Association Associate Member Michael J. 3. I am running NAV 2002 and it has nailed at least 6 KLEZ in the past 10 days or so. If your definitions are up to date it should catch it and quarantine the attachment. You should do an auto update every morning to check for updates.
