Hi List: I am looking for Frank & Salina King from Canada. They went to New York and on to Brookline, Massachusetts ... They had 7 children: James, Jennie, George, William, Emory, Frank, & Joseph. By 1910, Salina died. And none of the children were living with Frank Sr. If anyone is researching any of these lines please e-mail me back... Thanks. In reply to the Milton King email. I noted she wants an DNA test. We need more Kings to have their DNA tested. I am sure there can be some connections made if people will have a male YDNA tested. Doyle King
Is this the Milton King you're referring to: "Milton King (497), b. 17 Jan 1799 at KY, d. 27 Aug 1874 at KY +Susan Wiles (562), b. 10 Sep 1801 at VA, m. 19 Dec 1816 at KY, d. 30 Nov 1839" This Milton King is the fourth son of General John Edwards King. Do you know of any male King descendants? If we can get a Y-dna test on this King line we will knock down a lot of brick walls. Please contact me directly if this Milton King is the one you are looking for. I can send you sources. --- KTrouvat@aol.com wrote: > Would anyone have information on the family of > Milton King, early 1800s KY, > TN area? > > Karen > > > ==== KING Mailing List ==== > List webpage - > http://lists.rootsweb.com/index/surname/k/king.html > Genealogy Links - > http://www2.netdoor.com/~cch/GEN-links.htm > > ____________________________________________________ Yahoo! Hello All, I am searching for the family of Moses King of West Finley Township, Washington County, PA. Moses was born Nov 7, 1803 in PA and died July 1883 in Athens County, OH. He was likely married first to Susan or Sarah Nickeson, daughter of William Nickeson of the same township. His children by Susan or Sarah are David, William, Mary and Thomas. He married again to Catherine Brown (unknown location, date and parents but born in OH) and had the following children: Elisabeth, Lucinda, Joseph, John, Levi, Eunice and Andrew. The family moved west to, Lodi Twp., Athens County, OH ca 1849 with David, the single, older brother of Moses. A family oral history says that Moses's father was Thomas and he may have fought in War of 1812. There is no Thomas in 1820 Census but in 1810 there is a Thomas King in Finley Township (later split into East and West) with four sons. Moses supposedly had 3 brothers. I would like to know the parents of Moses and any other siblings he may have had. But any help regarding this family would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! Kevin V. OOPS FORGOT !!!! Rachel & children were in Bledsoe Co. Tn 1870 census, that is where her son Willaim Benjamin King lived, although he was born in Ga. They were not in 1880 census, that is when i found a Rachel King in Cobb,Co Ga.
Hi Margie, Did you ever find any info on your Rachel King? I have been searching for my Rachel Jane King, the only couple i found with names Rachel & James King ,they were in Madison Co. Ga. 1860,,,then in 1870 without James Rachel was HOH with 2 daughters & Thomas R. King,in Bledsoe Tn. names & DOB's were same, then as you found a Rachel King 1880 in Lemons Cobb, Co, Ga.,so did i ,found them in Haralson Co. Ga. The reason i was leaning toward this Rachel was the age.....Lore has it that our Rachel lived to be 100... Have you found more about your Rachel,,,i don't have any idea if my great grandfather Wiliam Benjamin King had any siblings, the only thing we have is William Benjamin King's death certificate, that list Father,James King, Mother Rachel Jane Higginbottom King..A cousin in OK. & i agree that people then had more than one child. Sure would like to know of any siblings. I sent e-mail to your webtv.net adress & it came back,so i poste to King list hoping to find you. did you her from any of the Draketown King's. Any info appreciated, Thanks Verna
