    3. Hi All, A great many lists which has been inactive for a long time have migrated to groups.io to continue genealogy research. This has resulted in renewed interest in genealogy for many of the lists although some others remain silent. I have no energy nor enthusiasm to take the list to a new site. If one of you would like to volunteer to do this, I can give you the email addresses of the current subscribers on Rootsweb. In that way, an invitation can be sent to them to join the new mail list on groups.io  The current set-up of the Rootsweb mail list prohibits me from figuring out which email addresses we currently have may still be active. So when an invitation is sent out, the email will just bounce if it is not a valid address. March 2 is the deadline for Ancestry stopping the mail list so let me know if you want to take over and start a new group. A benefit of groups.io is that I believe you have attachments to your emails. Ruth CherecwichKincaid List Administrator
