    3. Dear Kincaids of all spelling mail list members, I have received word from Rootweb/Ancestry today that ALL the Rootsweb Mail Lists will stop accepting posts as of March 2, 2020. Activity on ALL mail lists has been declining for a number of years, and then when Ancestry had its security issues a couple of years ago, life as we knew it effectively came to an end.  The good news is that the archives will remain intact and accessible for any researcher needing them. I do not know what we will all do for communication in the future. They suggested in the email that we use the Ancestry Message Boards, but not everyone has access to Ancestry.com  If you have any solutions, go ahead and start something and we can all follow. You have about seven weeks before we can no longer post to the List. Ruth CherecwichList Administrator

    3. At least some of us can keep in touch on Facebook. I wondered when they were going to pull the plug on the mailing lists. People are still finding my Kincaid research pages, but I have never been able to get back to the index to update it.  There were 40 visits last month. 3. Hi Ruth. Belated Happy New Year to you and all Kincaids! I am not a technical person, but I know that there are ways to set up Group email accounts. Is there someone who could possibly administer and maintain a group email set up? (Can it be accomplished via a log-in on the Kincaid website?) 3. Two of my groups moved to io groups. I'm not techy enough to accomplish this, but it might be an option.
