Hi Sue, I have found a descendant of Russell Kingcade and she responded to my email. I've sent her links to our discussion. She has confirmed that Archibald was a blacksmith. It looks like I may have the opportunity to be in the Pike Co, IL area again on March 20th. I'll then be flying out again on the 21st and could probably head for Ft Wayne, IN, if information needs to be researched at that library. Kim
