Dear Kincaid Listers I have not posted in a while. I have been involved in a matter of some importance for Southeast Colorado. But this is about Robert Deane Kincaid, a first cousin to my grandfather, Harry H. Kincaide. Deane Kincaid served aboard the USS Franklin during World War II. The Franklin was struck by 2 Japanese bombs on March 19, 1945. Robert Deane Kincaid survived this attack which is captured in this video. He is listed on the muster list for March 31, 1945.
