Larry, We are currently working with University of Glasgow to find Professors who would be willing to help us get dna samples from the Kincaid men in Campsie Parish Cemetery. Our contact with the politicians for Campsie did not know how we could go about getting approval to get the samples so hopefully the anthropology or other specialty profs will know how to do this. If we are successful we will know the dna of the Kincaid's of Kincaid and thus find out which Kincaid dna group descends from them. I'm definitely not used to YouTub blogs like this one. At first it seemed odd to me. Couldn't figure out why you just didn't do it all with written text, the old fashioned way. Then you started "showing' all of those interesting documents and drawings and it suddenly became very clear to me. It really helped to be able to "see" what you were talking about. And then the narrative you added helped us to interpret the drawings and other actual historical text you were showing. I also jotted down some of the sources of the material you were showing so I could look for them on the web myself. So, I ended up liking it quite a bit. What I didn't like was Alexander not having any male descendants living today, but I guess YouTube has some limitations. Thanks for taking time to do this for us. A great resource. On another note, I have some nice photos from my visit of the tombstones in Campsie Parish. After reading all of the latest breakthroughs in dna analysis of buried remains, I could not help wishing that we had dna samples from the Kincaid's in Campsie Parish. Are all of the Kincaid DNA groups A to . . . represented there? Or just one, or two?
