There is a record that Archibald was born in Christian Co, KY. The following obit for Milton said that he had siblings Rebecca Mays and Dr. A. G. Kinkead still living in 1906. According to familysearch.com, Illinois marriages, Rebecca Kinkead Mays was the daughter of William Kinkead & Sarah Steward, who married in 1823 in Christian County, KY. William may have married Elizabeth B.
