We just received an email from Bennett Greenspan, President of Family Tree DNA that they have their computers fully backed up and will not lose any DNA data regardless of how severe Hurricane Ike becomes. The do a complete backup every 15 minutes and also sent to another backup site for double insurance. He also mentioned there has been a huge response to the current special which is going to result in a big increase in their DNA database.
