I've been using a facebook account to reconnect with 'old' classmates and friends we've left behind from military moves, and it's a lot of fun. I run the group for our class. I would suggest that it's a 'closed' group, meaning that whoever (and it can be more than one person) is the administrator must approve someone joining the group before they can enter it. You would need to decide what level of access you would want people to have. Would you need to be a part of the dna project directly? Would you need to be able to verify your Kincaid relationship (and to what extent) and so on. But it's a neat idea, I think, even if I would not qualify to join the group. The facebook stuff is a lot of fun. What I?have noticed with my group, is that we really don't use the group site hardly at all. It's really a place to 'meet' everyone again, but most all of the communication seems to be done between individual facebook pages. Writing on the wall, everyone who's?a friend can see, but s! ending messages can only be seen by those that the original message was sent to. Debby Potter -----Original Message----- From: Peter A. If a Kincaid group was set up it could be a place to upload DNA graphics (ie. analysis and tables), pictures and videos. Anyone of us who a friends to that group would be able to view it. Great way for many of us to see faces to many of the names we have dealt with on this list for these past years. Any thoughts?
