Don ----- Original Message ----- From: Norman Kincaide To: donwkincaid@cox.net Sent: Saturday, December 06, 2008 1:08 PM Subject: Re: Newspaper article on Kincaid DNA participants I think the surprises we had with tests for Thomas Kincaid (Group C) who married Mary Mackey and David Kinkead (Group A) of Bourbon County, KY were interesting as well as Bill Kincaid's (Group C) test from Thomas Kinkead and Hannah Clingan and John Kinkead Jr. (Group A) sons of John Kinkead the Merchant of Carlisle. The story will appear in several leading newspapers and should help interest others in doing the Kincaid DNA test. We have already talked to Tootsie Tomlinson and Don Severs who gave permission to give Alan their phone number so have a start on items for the article. Alan had already found the Kincaid DNA Results Chart and the Rootsweb Kincaid List so already knows a lot about our project. Since most participants email addresses are on the chart, Alan may contact you for information on the story and we wanted to let you know in advance so you will know what his email is about and can decline or accept his invitation to share your dna story. For those of you who have an unusual dna story and would like to share it please let me know and I will pass your phone number on to Alan. We think this is an excellent opportunity to get exposure to our project and thus new members but we also understand that you may not want to participate and will only give him phone numbers of those who do give permission.
