Larry, We agree on the value of finding a descendant of the Butler County Kincaid family. We just finished a Superpages search for Kincaid's of several spellings in Butler County. We found no Kincaid's of any spelling except for Roy E Kinkead who lives in town of Butler. He did not answer his phone so will check later. When I told Superpages to include nearby areas we got a lot of matches since it includes Pittsburgh. Of interest there were 14 Kincades, 51 Kincaids and around 12 Kinkeads. I will contact those who are just outside Butler County. During this search, I inadvertently left off the town and state and got nationwide results for the suggested search shortcut of "Kinca" which should get Kincaid, Kincade, Kincaide and was surprised to see several Kincad listings so I called one in San Antonio, TX, however he actually spells his name Kincaid so turned out to be a listing error. We wound up talking about the Kincaid Surname DNA project and he has an interest and is going to visit with his Dad about it so your suggestion may get another participant! We are paying for unlimited cell phone long distance so don't mind trying to find descendants for the DNA project so if others have suggestions like Larry's please let us know. Don W. That looks to me like a lot of recent Y-DNA to follow up. Seems like we ought to be able to find some male descendent alive today, perhaps still living in Butler Co., or PA.
