Although no stated link is given, I can see how one, using a timeline, comes to the conclusion that Michael Kincaid of West Caln township, Chester County became the Michael Kincaid of Hamiltonban township, York County. Although no stated link is given, I can see how one, using a timeline, comes to believe that the Michael and Samuel Kincaid of Crawford County were the cousins of mentioned in Samuel Kincaid's 1776 Will. However, much is left accounted for. Samuel's brother John is unaccounted for. We also don't know for sure if the Michael Jr. mentioned in Samuel's 1776 Will was the son of Michael or another brother of Michael Sr. We also don't know for sure who the father was of the Samuel who made the Will in 1776. Michael Sr. appears to have had at least four sons based on the 1790 census. I don't see this all accounted for. Overall, I don't see the link to Sadsbury John other than proximity. I think that Sadsbury John is not the same person as West Caln John - the latter being who Michael ties to. Am I missing some better evidence? I am tempted to speculate that Michael, Robert of East Caln, and Samuel of West Caln tie to the John and James who were warranted land in 1729. It is also tempting to speculate that Sadsbury John came later (circa 1745) when he got his warrant for 200 acres. I am also tempted to speculate that Robert the weaver of West Caln is Sadsbury John's son. Robert of East Caln would be the carpenter. What are your thoughts? Thank you for this as I had overlooked the link between the 1745 patent and the 1734 warrant. I don`t think you will disagree in that the bulk of this grant was in Sadsbury Township, even after West Caln township was formed. After all, Charles was being taxed in Sadsbury township for 200 acres, apparently starting in 1765. Peter
