    3. Dear Kincaid-listers, I was going through the warrants and surveys for Butler County, PA trying to find surveys in Donegal Township that might be adjacent to a Kincaid and this is what I found.  This survey was orginally in Allegheny County, later in Butler County.  Who is this Samuel Kincade junior to?  Is he the son of Samuel Kincaid married to Sarah Reed who died at the seige of Fort Meigs?  Or the son of Samuel Kincaid who married Elizabeth Wilson?  Subsequently, this Samuel Kincaid died in Butler County, PA in 1840 leaving three son: John, James, and Robert.  This Samuel is of particular interest to Group C Kincaids if he is the son of either of the above Samuel Kincaids.  This land is also connected to the Craig family and it could be that the John Kincaid, of Butler County who sold his donation land Isaac Craig could be the brother of this Samuel Kincade, Jr. Sincerely Norman Kincaide 1794 Samuel Kincade, Jr.  Surveyed the 18 day of September 1794 for Jonathan Craig, 401 acres of land with the         allowance of six per cent &c by virtue of his improvement began the 18 day of Sept. 1794 situate in District         No. 8 N.W. of the Allegheny River on the waters of the West Branch of Buffaloe Creek.  Stephen Gapen,             D.S.  To Daniel Brodhead, Esqr.
