Both match the Group A Apparent Ancestral Values on the 1st panal which came in last week. #129678 continues to match Group A AAV in the 3rd panal. He believes descent from Washington Kincade and Sarah Meadows through their son Francis M. Kincade 1843-1867 n Martha Luse. Francis was born in IN according to his son Aaron Washington's censuses. Francis died at Main Station, Appanoose Co, Iowa. Given the name Francis M. it is possible that this family ties into the family of #129770 though #129770 has a mutation he does not have. #129770 varies from Group A AAV at 2 markers. At marker 35 (CDYb) he has a 38 instead of the AAV 39. This marker varies a lot in group A with both 38's and 40's showing up in several sets. At marker 30 (456) he has a 16 instead of the Group A AAV of 17. There is only one other 16 at this marker in Group A. It belongs to #25710 who believes descent from Joseph Kincaid (1771-1840) of Crawford Co. IN thought to have been born in KY m Eliz. Gray Downing. #129770 has been vetted to Mathew Kincade b 1807 VA m Eliz. Humble in Marion Co. IN. A possible father for 129770 is Francis Kincaid/Nancy Murdoch. It is hard to see how a 1771 birth in KY can be tied to a 1807 birth in VA but because of the rarity of this mutation a possible connection should be explored. Sue Liedtke
