    3. Does anyone have records for this George Kincaid? The compiler has discovered that George Kincaid was married to Jane Lytle of Westmoreland Co. as proven by many legal records. Also many legal records of that county and Natchez, Miss., seem to point to Jane McConnell. One 1803 will record names her as "my widowed Aunt Jane Little, relict of John Little late of Pennsylvania, decd." See pages 403-411 for the compiler's paper 1963 on this subject. A recently discovered tradition in the compiler's line shows a connection to the Liddell family,- Barons and Earls of Co. Durham, England. See pages 954A-954D. This English family had a coat of arms. A 1962 historical novel by Anya Seton covers the period of time from 1710 to about 1770 and covers the region around Co. Durham and mentions the Liddells on page 18. Some data collected in 1962 which may apply to the403 through 411 compiler's traditional ancestors, John Little and his wife, Jane McConnell- One of the 4 daughters married George Kincaid (see pages 483-489). The Natchez, Mississippi, records- in will of George Cochran there is a bequest "to my widowed Aunt Jane Little, reliot of John Little, late of Pennsylvania dead".
