Wellington (Whimpy) was born Dec. 2, 1923, at Ector, Texas, the third child of Elbert and Mavis Amlin. He married Mattie Lee Kincaid (Mildred/Millie) March 6, 1947. Survivors include his wife; daughter, Ann Ramey of Ariz., with children and grandchildren; a sister, Helen Grist of Meridian, Idaho; along with many nieces, nephews and a multitude of friends. He made friends easily and touched people’s hearts everywhere he went. Those who knew Whimpy knew of his love for his God Jehovah and how dedicated he was to live according to Bible principles, sharing Bible truths at every opportunity. Memorial services will be conducted at 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008, at the Ontario Kingdom Hall of Jehovah ’s Witnesses, at 1746 N.W. Fourth Ave, Ontario.
