Dear Kincaid listers: There is an interesting connection between Andrew Kincaid and the below warrants and surveys, mainly in the fact that Adam Maxwell is an adjacent land owner or claimant in the 1785 and the one with Samuel Kinkead in 1794. I'm still not sure who this Samuel Kincaid is, whether he is related to James Kinkead the coroner or not. But he has land adjacent to Adam Maxwell below. Maxwell ? ? to have and to hold said warrant & the land held by the same to the said Andrew Kinkaid his heirs & assigns to the only proper use & behouf? of the said Andrew Kinkaid his heirs, executors, administrators & assigns the aforesaid warrant together with the land held by the same unto the said Andrew Kinkaid, his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns shall & will warrant & defend ? by these presents in Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal the day & year first above written.
