Norman, I was very interested to see your message July 28 with the data from the Ben Dixon book and the old email message from Diana Kincaid. Is the information in the Ben Dixon book available where one could read it on the internet or any other place? I have known of the book for some time but wasn't certain if my line is in it or not. The Joseph Kinkade (in Diana's message) who married Sarah Maring in my ancestor (you and I have corresponded about them in the past). Diana Kincaid and I exchanged our information probably about 10 years ago, but I have lost contact with her. Do you know if anyone has had contact with her recently? Going on down through your message to the last paragraph where you mentioned Edward being born in 1857 before Andrew Kinkade married Harriet Scott in 1865 -- is there any chance someone mistyped the date of marriage as 1865 when they meant 1856 -- just a thought. Also, you'll note that Edward Leander Kinkade was not the only Leander -- Joseph and Sarah named their first son Leander Marion Kinkade. Mary Hart
