Dear Kincaid listers: See this website for a valuable resource for the Pennsylvania battalions and line regiments for the Continental line and individual officers: http://www.pasocietyofthecincinnati.org/ The following officers were assigned to the Carlisle Munitions Lab: Isaac Craig, Nathanial Irish, Thomas Wylie.  John Kincaid, artificer, was assigned to each of these officers during his enlistment period most likley in Carlisle.  This adds even more circumstanial evidence that he is my John Kinkead, son of George Kinkead of Toboyne Township, Cumberland County, PA and that the John Kinkead, private in William Wilson's Company is his cousin.  I thought at first the John Kincaid, private, in Capt. William Wilson's Company, 1st Pennsylvania Regiment was my John Kincaid, since his brother Andrew is a corporal in the same company.  But it appears I have it reversed.  I'll think on't some more.
