Anyone have any information concerning Charles L. Kincaid born about 1803 in Kentucky. He is recorded living in Mount Pleasant, Scotland County of Missouri in 1850 census. Along with his wife and children. Now in 1860-1870 their is a Charles L. Kincaid/Kinkead recorded living in Tulare County of California. I am trying to see if they are the same person. Pennie Eiben

I found this Charles L. Kincaid living very near Andrew/Andreas Kincaid, in Tulare County, CA in the 1860 and 1870 censuses. Andrew was the son of the Mathew Kincaid who was a friend/and or relative of Kit Carson. I think that this was the same Charles Kincaid of Scotland County, MO. Andrew had a daughter named Rafaela Kincaid--- not sure of the exact spelling of her first name. She is shown as buying land in CA in the Bureau of Land Management website.
