Second the close connection for 2563 and 119921! The 67 marker FTDNA probability of common ancestors is 95% at 8 generations. For 67 markers results this is high! For comparison the 4 in Group A, Set 1a who are exact matches on the whole 67 markers have a probability of a common ancestor within 8 generations of 97%, so almost as high as the exact matches. Since 2563 traces back to John Kincaid, The Patriarch and 119921 traces back to John Kincaid of Sadsbury Township, Chester County, PA, it seems the earliest possible common ancestor would the the grandfather of these 2 Johns. (Unless 2 sons in the same family were named John.....not very likely) Don ----- Original Message ----- From: Peter A. According to the Clyde Kincaid book, records in Edinburg states that John The Patriarch's grandfather was Joseph Kincaid who married Mira North in 1685 and he emigrated to Ireland in 1701. Also, that John's father was Robert who married Elizabeth North in 1703. I have absolutely no proof of any of this, but it is an avenue for someone to pursue. Sharon Kisor "Don W.
