    1. [KINCAID] David Kinkead married to Rebecca Osborn
    2. Norman Kincaide
    3. After further study I believe that David Kincaid who married Rebecca Osborn is the son of John Kinkead of Bart Township, Lancaster County, PA, who I believe to be the John Kinkead of Oxford Township, Chester County, PA and son of John Kinkead of Sadsbury Township, Chester County, PA.  I believe that the early portion of the history of this Kincaid line in Ben Dixon's book is flawed.  So I took the actual facts and looked at them.  The short timeline below indicates the early record of this line. 1750 John Kinkade, Jr. [000022] born to John Kinkade [000022] & wife Jayne Scott in either Ireland  or Penn. 1761 James Kinkade [000022] born to John Kinkade & Jayne [000022]  in Ireland. 1765 Hannah Kinkade [000022] born to John Kinkade [000022] & Jayne Scott in Penn. married David or                 Daniel Johnson. 1768 Nancy Kinkade [000022] born to John Kinkade & Jayne [000022]  in Penn. married Samuel Kennedy. 1770 Elisabeth Kinkade [000022] born to John Kinkade [000022] & Jayne Scott in Penn. married David Davis. 1772 James Kinkade [000022] born to John Kinkade Jr. & Polly Davis in Penn. 1775 David Kinkade [000022] born to John Kinkade Jr. [000022] & Polly Davis in Penn. 1775 Margaret Kinkade [000022] born to John Kinkade [000022] & Jayne Scott in Penn. 1801 Andrew Kinkade [000022] born in PA, father b PA, mother b NJ, in 1880 Census, in Bethel Township,             Monroe County, OH. USFC, 1880, p. 424C. 1802 Andrew Kinkade [000022] born to David Kinkade [000022] & wife Rebecca Osborn on May 12, 1802 in         Greene County, PA. None of the above births can be confirmed through any bible record or any list from the Pennsylvania Archives. Below is a time line for David Kinkead, son of John Kinkead of Oxford Township, later of Drumore and Bart Township, Lancaster County, PA.  I thought for a short while that David Kinkead in Cumberland Township, Greene County, PA was the son of Samuel Kinkead of Fawn Township, but there are children in the family older than 5 years old and David, son of Samuel Kinkead of Fawn Township was still single in 1805. Andrew Kincaid, son of David Kinkead was born in Penn. in 1801/02 and his father was born in Penn. as Andrew stated in the 1880 Census as did his brother Secrist stated in the 1880 census.  The other Kincaids in Greene County, PA are the sons of Robert Kinkead and Susannah Powell.  Samuel went to Monroe County, OH as did David Kinkead they are both in Greene County in 1810 and then in Monroe County, OH in 1820.  Robert Kinkead, Samuel's brother died in 1815.  As for James Kinkead who married Nancy Taylor I believe he is connected to John Kinkead later of Mifflin Township, Allegheny County, PA, the John Kinkead Jr. formerly of Lancaster County, PA. 1770 David Kinkead [000012] born to John Kinkead [000012] & wife Elizabeth McCall in Londonderry                     Township,  Chester County, PA. Extrapolation 1785 John Kinkaid, [000012] Oxford Township, Chester County, PA & his wife, Elizabeth sold to Abraham             Cooper 145  acres for 775 pounds on August 23, 1785, being a tract of land Samuel McCall and his             wife, Sarah of Fawn Township, York County, PA purchased on March 23, 1763, called William Penn’s         Manor in Oxford Township, Chester County, PA. An indenture for this tract of land was made between         Samuel McCall and John Kinkead [000012] on January 1, 1768.
