I use to work with a James B. Kincaid who descended from James and Elizabeth Church Kincaid. You will also find this James and Elizabeth living in Franklin County, Tennessee. James B. died before he could prove who the father of James was. Using the date of marriage for David and Patsy Shrygley in Bourbon County, KY James would have been too old to have been his child. Or, using the Census records of 1800 and 1810 it does not appear that David had 3 older sons, but just two. However, There is folklore that there were three brothers that came to Lawrence County, TN one was David Marion Kincaid Jr, one was Landon and perhaps James would have been the 3rd. His parents could also be Hopson Kincaid that was living in Franklin County, TN. You will notice that Amon and the other descendants of James and Elizabeth Church match up with that family as well. **************Get the scoop on last night's hottest shows and the live music scene in your area - Check out TourTracker.com! Thank you. It was worth a shot but doesn't look like James could be son to David d 1795 or to any of David's sons. Unless 28835 and 1255 can find a common ancestor downline from John/Elizabeth Logan it looks like John or his father David/Winnefred may have carried the mutation to 11 at marker 4. Neither of these participants are vetted to John/Elizabeth but both have some circumstantial evidence that this is the correct linkage by different sons to John/Elizabeth. IF the linkages are correct then 11207 who does not have the mutation cannot be a son to Hobson.
