Most of Rev. Joseph Kinkead's known descendants use the spelling of Kincaid. Things flip so much in families one has to be open to all spellings. Most were illiterate and were recorded with spellings at the whim of the recorder. Pardon me, but do you have any more information concerning Rev. Joseph Kinkead? Where did he settle? Was it in Virginia? If so what area. I realise that I am " Johnny come lately".
