    3. In looking at the upgrade to 67 results, there is a possible pattern emerging at marker 50 (413b) and marker 60 (446). It is still too early to tell and both markers seem to have a parallel mutation but there is a possible path with the 22 at marker 50 occuring 1st followed by the 14 at marker 60. Set 4's line would take off from #2519 (who has both mutations) at marker 19 (437) with a mutation to 14. If the pattern holds with further upgrades this means that 15550 would not find a common ancestor in the colonies with any current project participant as 2519's ancestor Samuel/Johanna Walch was b 1811 and d 1885 in Ireland and 2519's ancestor James Woodburn/Margaret Kuhn's was also b 1811. Finding another participant from James Woodburn's line (preferably from a different son) would help confirm or eliminate mutations within this line and give us a better picture of where he fits in. 1. [KINCAID] James Woodburn Kinkade/Kinkaid (15550) other male lines
    2. Margie von Marenholtz
    3. I was in contact with H. Keith Kinkade 10 years ago but lost contact when his eyesight began failing. He is descended from James Woodburn Kinkaids youngest surviving son, William. I know of male descendants of his son James W. Kincaid, but have never met them, just corresponded with one sister until my mother passed away last year. She appears to have lost interest so I will seek out her cousins and siblings. I will see if I can get hold of Keith in CA and see if he is interested; however, I would only be able to sponsor the basic 25 marker test. Knowing my Kinkade family, asking estranged/unfamiliar family to contribute their DNA and having to pay too will be a challenge! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sue Liedtke" <seleaml@actionnet.net> To: <kincaid@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, July 26, 2008 8:58 AM Subject: Re: [KINCAID] another John in Carlisle > In looking at the upgrade to 67 results, there is a possible pattern > emerging at marker 50 (413b) and marker 60 (446). 1. [KINCAID] Another son of 15550 line to participate
    2. Margie von Marenholtz
    3. Sue: The grandson of James Woodburn Kinkade's son William has agreed to participate in the DNA Project. Keith Kinkade was an avid Kinkade researcher in the 1960's and 1970's and was the driving force behind my own Kinkade research. I am working on ordering a 67 marker kit for him now. 3. Margie is this kit #130404? I will need to know who is contact and have permission to put the e-mail address on the chart. We have had several new orders for tests in the last few days, at least some of which are long sought after lines. I am hoping that lineage and contact info will be available by the time the results are returned. I would be happy to send vetting formats to any who wish to start on that process. I am always happy to help (time permitting) anyone with organizing their information for clarity and to present the strongest arguement possible. Please contact me off list. seleaml@actionnet.net if you would like a format. Please include your kit number so I know for sure who I am talking with. Barb, thank you for your input on the vetting post for #11207 A-1b. I do appreciate all those that take the time to look through the posts and respond. It is so easy to miss something that may not be as clear as it should be. With many eyes tracing the line we are more likely to end up with solid links. Confirmation as well as questions are welcome contributions.
